Fun Facts
On August 6th 2014 the ESA's Rosetta spacecraft reached Comet 67P. Then on November 12th, its lander module Philae successfully landed on the comet.
Churyumov–Gerasimenko was discovered by Klim Ivanovich Churyumov in 1969.
